For me it has to be the Stonewell & Bellcom VF-X4 Tactical Fighter. Never mind it's ridiculous abilities, the simple audacity of the craft puts it over the top for me. Granted there are more practical designs. But this is the one that captures the imagination in a way the clunky Valkyrie or Tie Fighter never could.

Well I've been thrown in jail for my stupid crimes of naivety.
